Imprint in the Oil and Gas Sector

Since its incorporation in 1992, AMG has been very active in the Nigerian oil and gas sector establishing a core position in the downstream crude oil and petroleum products trading and distribution business. AMG's combined throughput in 2010 amounted to over $450 million in turnover and given its present focus on the upstream sector, AMG's turnover is expected to exceed the $650 million mark in 2011.

Crude Oil Transportation and Trading

In spite of the global economic problems of the last four years, AMG has maintained a steady presence in the global oil market, selling over 22 million barrels of Nigerian crude blends to customers in Europe, United States of America and the West African Sub-Regional market.

Petroleum Products Supply, Marketing and Distribution

AMG has made significant contributions to the alleviation of shortage of petroleum products in Nigeria, through alliances with proven refinery outfits and international traders, which ensures that we have been able to bring in over 300,000mt of quality petroleum products. Principally; Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) or diesel in the last four years to meet the needs of our industrial, commercial and domestic customers all over the country.

Since 2008, AMG has embarked upon key infrastructural development in strategic locations across the country that will provide AMG unsurpassed competitive edge within the downstream oil and gas industry in the short to medium term. These projects include petrol stations, storage & distribution terminals and acquisition of sea-going vessels.
